About Cafe Amici Montclair

Albert Franco has done it again with the opening of Café Amici Montclair. This is Albert’s third Café Amici in Northern New Jersey. His first Café Amici restaurant launched ten years ago in Wyckoff. He recently gave up his ownership there to open the Montclair venue.
It was a difficult decision to leave Wyckoff where he had tremendous success and developed many long term relationships, but the opportunity to have a restaurant in Montclair was an opportunity he could not pass up.
Franco will continue to maintain a presence in Bergen County with his Café Amici HoHoKus, which he opened in 2008. The HoHoKus location continues to receive rave reviews and is a restaurant of choice in the surrounding communities.
Franco chose to venture out of Bergen County and into Montclair when presented with the opportunity to open his third restaurant. Franco considers the Montclair opening one of his most exciting opportunities. Montclair is a culturally and ethnically diverse community with a restaurant rich downtown area.
Because of the many culinary options that this dynamic community offers, Franco believes his creative, eclectic menu provides the sophisticated restaurant goer many fresh, unique dining choices. His menu is built on an American modern Italian influence. He looks forward to bringing his passion for food and service to Montclair.
